Jack of Blades masks...

I was just curious cause, I read the Tales of Albion thing online and I've noticed Jack of Blades has three masks, one on his face and two at his waist. Do the two masks on his waist belong to the Queen and Knight of Blades?

Re: Jack of Blades masks...

It's speculated that they do, though I used to think they had them as some way for him to change his face based on his mood.

 Funnily enough theres a mod that kind of does that. You can have the option to either wear all three masks, or they mask changes depending on whether your good (happy face) Neutral (regular Jack mask) or evil (sad face)

Re: Jack of Blades masks...

I don't see how he could have time to gather the masks after being bodyless for a few millenia

Re: Jack of Blades masks...

So the Hero of Oakvale just destroyed one of his masks. Hmm, interesting.

Destroyed, kept or put on; right?

Good; Neutral; Evil.

Yes?

Re: Jack of Blades masks...

.......Then maybe he comes back with the other masks in Fable 3 or something?
That could be the plot...

EDIT: No wait, it depended on what you chose, and plus didnt you already destroy his body? (the one with the masks.)

Yeah I'm pretty sure when you kill him the first time it's implied that you destroyed the other two masks along with his body and merely kept the mask he wears on his face.

Re: Jack of Blades masks...

Yea, lol. I posted that and then I was dumbstruck for a moment at what I posted.
Then I decided to edit it. :]

Yes?

Should Theresa live in Fable 1? And who's the Theresa in Fable 2? Please tell me.

The Vortex opened right after the Hero defeated JoB. But after the cutscene, the body simply disappeared. Was it really destroyed? No one knows that for sure.

Well I didn't pay much attention to him, all I was saying was, I WANT MY MASK. lol

And if you want the Sword of Aeons and want to be evil, kill Theresa. If not, let her live and a while later you can get Avo's Tear which has the exact same stats. I took the Sword of Aeons cuz it sounded way cooler. :P

The Theresa in Fable 2 is same exact one, she somehow lived through you killing her (or not)

Re: Jack of Blades masks...

Avo's tear was a *****ass addition, being good in TLC is way too easy

So is it good or bad?
And personally I think that being evil is a lot easier.
Find some random traders, buy from them and then kill them for fun.
That's what I do :]

She lived because the game (Fable II) is suggesting that the Hero of Oakvale was good and because she, as well as the heroes from both games, are descended from the Archon's, all of whom were immortal.
However, There is a book called The Hero of Oakvale, found in Fable II. It claims that The Hero wielded The Sword of Aeons, in which case he would be evil. Though it's speculated that either the writer confused Avo's Tear for The Sword of Aeons because of their similarities or that it's merely a joke since, obviously, Theresa wouldn't be alive if The Hero had killed her in order to keep The Sword.

What I do not get is, why couldn't you keep the SoA without killing your sister?
(Excuse me for sounding noobish, I didn't really pay attention at the end, I think I skipped the cut scenes)

Re: Jack of Blades masks...

To activate the powers of the sword, you need to sacrifice someone from the bloodline.:ninja:

Oooh. Kill yourself! :D
Jk. Damn, why did JoB have to kill your mother, you could've killed her instead, she was like half dead anyways.

Anyone of GOOD alignment still would have thrown away the sword in that case. However, killing yourself and letting your sister/mother keep the sword would be interesting... Then maybe they could even get Avo's Tear and they would both have ultimate POWER!!!
I mean and they are immortal (They don't really die of old age although they can be killed) so they could rule Albion or even the WORLD!

lol That would be interesting, instead of playing as the Hero, maybe you could play as Theresa in Fable 3?
Fable 3 will probably be the same, as the other games, you still will probably be the Hero.

Fable III is most likely gonna be a direct sequel of Fable II since there's so much unfinished story although the DLC may take care of that so IDK
