First, Hello


Now the title is just a joke, but this is what popped in my mind when I got the error.

First... Native langage is french, so forgive me if there is anything I had not fully understood, and I'm quite a newbie in the modding area... as it's not what I intended as the first point.

Playing Fable the lost chapters for the second time had made me wanting to play with a female character, thus I did these things:

Changed the graphic to 5120, female base naked, so I could put clothes without too much problems. Changed the eyegraphic to 7650 and put the scale into 1,34.

Nothing wrong about that... When I played, face distorbed, etc. Swatched the CAppeareancedef with these of Briar Rose keeping the basic female graphic and erased bones: got good textures, became a bit long in using the sword, no animation with bow but it's normal as Briar Rose don't, and can use magic even if the animation is a bit strange.

Sometimes the face come back in playing to strange, but when in cinematic it come back to normal, I don't get why. Swapped the gender to 2 but it did nothing.

Anyway...

I had a problem with Shadownet all of a sudden and removed it to reinstall, without I know why this time it worked flawlessly... Except that my mods won't apply. Not a problem, don't disallow me to play.




Then come the problem I ask help for:

Jack of Blades must see in the datas, because in every cinematic with any other characters there is no problem but as soon as both he and my hero appear on the screen in cinematic, the video bug and freeze, I'm forced to use "escape" and... can play again, but I missed the video and can't take screenshots.

I wonder if it could be because the expression array I deleted in the first installation of Shadownet came back, but do not see the report: I did this before the arena, and had no problem. Of course my hero stand without animation during cinematics but...
How can I do? Am I forced to switch back to the hero?

Did you get any particular error message or code? I've become somewhat skilled at helping others fix this sort of stuff.

The merging tool wasn't functioning and there was some files that I couldn't open by clicking on them. Anyway I guess, since the merge is fixed, that since I repair the program it is alright.

Now that is a new one for me. Could it be that the problem is only with Jack, and not necessarily Jack and the Hero? If the problem is just with Jack, then it might just come down to whatever edits were done to him. If it's Jack and the Hero, then the only thing I can think of is that it's a language specific thing, but that's only if you're using a non-English version of Fable.

Actually what happened is :
I did the arena and got on screen Jack without problem, or the hero and Jack in far background.
But, after the Whisper fight, I was walking on the hall of heroes, saw Jack legs running behind columns like the video usually do. He approached, and the video freezed here:

There I believed it was a random problem and passed through.

But when i went to save Scarlet Robe, the video bug when I enter the room with the mother and she is petrified - the strange dark cloud begin to work, but the video freeze and I'm sent everywhere, but no voice, no video...
Nothing.
This time it just won't be...

If you could phrase this differently, I might be able to get a better idea of what you're talking about

During video, cinematic, when for example the hero is supposed to hold his arms in front of his face, my hero won't do anything, but I guess it is because of the swapped CAppearencedef with these of Briar Rose.
I deleted Shadownet, and then downloaded a newer version and put it back, renewing everything (back-up).

I was simply wondering if there was another way to see this cinematic than reseting my hero back to the normal, so, putting back the hero CAppearencedef .

So it's this who cause the Jack Of Blades problem? I have to put my hero back to normal then if I don't want to change the animation used?

And.. in the CCutsene def case... would you mind to tell me how I can change these? Just sounds very, very complicated, if it's too much then... CApearreance normal :/
