Jacks' Mask - if it had actuatly worked?

I was just playing TLC with my guy who had put on Jacks' mask, and I got my summoned Hobbe to kill a Minion, so i could then summon a Minion myself. I realised this was about as close as you could get to being the real Jack of Blades. So, what do you think you should be able to do if you wore Jacks' mask?

^lawled uhmm use all of jacks crazy moves like that blade on yeah you know what i mean and the shield and and and morph into a cat at will.

You'd pretty much lose your own will and become a puppet.

Take it off.

No no no, the point is Jack possesses you if you wear the mask, so you'd never be able to take it off. I think you should get full armour though, no matter what you're wearing, in fact max out all your levels. And be able to summon minions too.

The Mask is Jack. Basically the schmuck we call Jack of Blades is just Jack's latest host.

I like to think that, despite the fact that jack possesses the hero of oakvale (in the bad ending) and destroys him, he cannot fully harness the power he once possessed. Perhaps because jack was more akin to possessing simple folk, the sheer power of the Black bloodline stilted his power.

Indeed, there is no apparent presence of Jack of Blades in Fable II; perhaps the possession of an archon was his ultimate undoing, giving way to his death at the hands of Theresa or Sythe, or even the revolt against the guild.

Hmmm, maybe. Jack could have been killed internally due to the Hero's amazing strength, as the Hero of Oakvales' 'power' is to be able to overcome any obstacle no matter what the odds are.

But in your quest log it says something along the lines of "So this little hero had a diary? How pathetic. Oh well, he is dead now and Jack lives on!"

I don't know the exact quote, but I think that's pretty similar.

Edit - This was probably updated in TLC to use a different text entry, as the game wasn't over at that point in TLC. I've checked my game and indeed it says something different, which I have found here:

It appears just as that in the text.big, I've provided entry names and ID numbers if you should decide to check for yourself. Edit: Screenshot.

In my game files, (Which are unedited) the TEXT_QST_LOG_STORY_PLATINUM_385_DESC says

Literally, it even capitalized the word "Hero". I'd show a screenshot, but I don't have a game that far, as I reinstalled fable only a few days ago.

Definitely. It might be something controlled by the exe (but I doubt it)

I still think Lionhead should have given you total destructive power. Maybe only if you'd finished all the quests, so you couldn't finish them really easily. How do you install Fable Modder? I'd like to asperiment a bit...

Really jacks mask should allow you to teleport anywhere at will, summon amazingly powerful minions, carve stuff like jack,have a cool voice,decorate the mask and have little jacklets.

you should be able to get's jack's armor, jack's cleaver (a red master cleaver) and maybe a cool ass spell that changes 'beserk' to 'dragon'
