Jasper isn't talking?

When i enter my sanctuary, Jasper never talks. I go into the Wardrobe room and i change clothes but he never says anything, never giving his opinion. Same with weapons, Gold room and War Room.

Is this happening to anyone else? I join my buddy's Co-Op games and he talks all the time.

There's some kind of glitch apparently. There's another thread on here that talks about how they're about to patch the game. I guess that's an issue they will fix.

This is one of the most common issues. It's happened to me, and at least Hermit as well, but also loads of people at the Lionhead boards.

the only thing to do is hope LH release a patch soon.

I have a savegame with a mute Jasper as well. There's nothing that I could find to be done about it. More importantly though, it kills the D-Pad quick links to getting into various Sanctuary rooms. I eventually got frustrated enough that I just started a new game with it, and so far (knock on wood) no problems. D-Pad and Jasper work as intended.

its funny how molyneux says that jasper is one of the bests parts to fable. and that john spent so much time voicing all his speech. and we don't even hear him now.

it should be noted that it doesn't always happen...
it happened to me on my first playthrough, but he's still talking to my second character.

I've also got this problem on my male character. But so far my new female character is glitch free.
