Judgements: My Thoughts and yours

Once you become King, a new chamber will open in either your castle or the santuary which will be a courtroom and once you enter a criminal will be brought before you, lets say a thief who stole bread for his family, your decision will affect all Albion by you showing how crime will be tolerated or not. There will be many more criminals with crimes ranging from inability to pay rent(which will affects poverty levels)to murder(which might dispose of fines for harsher punishments)

The promises during the game will affect very large problemss like child labour or industrial expansion, while judgements have a more social base.

Your ideas and comments are welcome.

Re: Judgements: My Thoughts and yours

Personally i think its a great way to expand on the choices Lionhead has always strived to place in their games
And what makes the Judgments better is that they have the ability to be in a moral grey area much easier than say, keeping the sword of Aeons or destroying it. Since we are dealing with actual people, albeit npc's :P, we could still feel for the characters stories, and we cannot just choose to hate them because they are truly evil, like jack

Re: Judgements: My Thoughts and yours

I would give some leeway to crime only because I would be committing them myself and would understand the differences between crimes that are normally viewed as punishable by death and crimes that are not. Even though I would be a very nasty and evil man on the throne, I would give everyone a second chance except those who've committed the most heinous of crimes - as to not unsettle my social standing with the people of Albion - and swiftly proceed to hold a public execution of beheadment in the name of "justice," my loyal subjects, and so forth and whatever.

This lol but yeah I like your idea of having something like that.
