Just an urban legend. (pt. 1 of 4)

As a child did you ever hear stories? About your local area, ghost stories? I bet if you have they had some evil ending and probably a warning? You never dared to find out yourself because of the warning, then you grew too old to care, forgetting the tale every existed. Well I'm one of those people who dared to find out the truth, check out the old tale and I've paid for it in a big way. This will just become part of the story, me and my friends never returning home, just another chapter in a never ending story, I'm writing this in the hopes someone will find it and learn that these gruesome events are not just a simple ghost story used to frighten little kids, it is very much real. I guess I should start by telling you the story itself if you haven't heard it already.
Twenty years ago on November 26th a group of friends were seen entering the old abandoned warehouse off George street, they went in at 9pm that night and were never seen or heard from again. Some say unspeakable evils lurks in that warehouse and some say you can still hear those kids screaming on dark nights.
A great little tale, makes you just want to find out what happened, well it did me anyway, maybe that's where it all went wrong? My curiosity getting the better of me has doomed me to die in the same way those poor kids did, I'm getting ahead of myself here, this story I'm about to tell serves as a warning to all those who enter leave as fast as you can. The date was November 25th 2009 I was playing hooky from school as I usually did on a day like this, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and there wasn't a cloud in the sky, who'd want to be cooped up inside on a day like this! I was laying in the middle of a near by field surrounded by forest and a small river, I lay among the large weeds and lost myself in the sky. I looked at my watch, it was 12:58, I decided to get up and go sit by the river, it always seemed so peaceful to me the flowing water forever moving, never looking back the way I wished I could live my life, I layed my back against a tree and relaxed getting so comfy I nodded off. When I came too there was a weird old man staring at me, I jumped up with shock and confusing, "Stay away from the old warehouse" He said through his cracked lips, he was rather old mid 70's I'd say, his hair or what was left of it was pure white, he had a long dirty beard that should have been white but due to dirt and other unsightly things it was a stomach turning grey. His cloths were old and torn, he was wearing a large navy blue coat a cream jumper, which looked as though it should have been white, some ripped old jeans and big black working boots that were caked in mud. "What the hell are you doing!" I screamed with sheer terror the terror of a person who just woke up to an old person staring at them. "Do not go near the old warehouse" He said with a rather serious look in his eyes. "it'll be 20 years tomorrow since them kids died, there be an evil there of which no man should ever have to witness!"
"That's all well and good" I said "but what the hell were you doing staring at me while I was sleeping?" I asked getting rather angry. "Heed my warning" he said as he walked off, he was talking to himself as he walked off. I stood there for awhile completely horrified by what had just happened, I looked at my watch, it was 3:45 I had slept the day of school away, I shrugged and was about to turn around and head home when a pair of arms wrapped themselves around my neck, I gave out a rather girlish squeal at first but then I realised the arms were not trying to harm me but hug me. "what the hells wrong with you?" Asked Lottie, my girlfriend. "haha nothing, you just surprised me is all" I said as I turned to face her and kiss her beautiful lips. Lottie was your average 16 year old school girl, she went to school every day, did her best to get the best grades she could, followed all the rules, the exact opposite to me, she has long blonde hair and her fringe curls to the left, she has the most amazing blue eyes you've ever seen, at that time she was wearing her school uniform which is a pretty plane old school uniform, blazer, jumper shirt tie ect. "You weren't in school today again?" she asked as she pulled away from the kiss, "Nah got better things to do with me life," I replied with a ****y attitude."Why do you keep doing this to yourself? You need to go to school, or you'll end up living on the street" She said with a sadness on her face I had never seen before. "So? what's the big deal, that's the future this is now. I'd rather be happy in the present then worry about the future." I said in a rather angry tone. She lowered her head in defeat and sadness, I felt really bad. "Look I promise I'll start coming to school" She answered me with silence, "oh come on please don't be like that" She kept her still silence, I lifted her head up and she was crying, I wiped the tears from her eyes and hugged her, "What's wrong?" I asked her in a calming voice, "I just don't want you to throw your life away" She said in a voice so soft I could barley hear her. "I wont I promise, now come on let's walk you home" I said as I put my arm around her.
The road towards her house was always uneasy at this time of day, it was 5:30 and already pitch black outside, the houses down this street were all so luxurious, I always wished I could live in one of them. We walked together down the street and passed the old abandoned warehouse, a shiver went down my spine as we walked past the gate. "Did you fee that?" I asked rather frightened. "Feel what?" She replied with a puzzled look on her face. "Oh nothing never mind" I said and she rested her had back on my shoulder as we walked. It was 5:45 when we reached her house, I gave her a kiss good night and she went through her front door, I began my walk back up the street, slightly wishing I didn't have to walk past the old warehouse, what was that uneasy feeling that came over me, as though someone was staring at me, I got the beginning of the fence that bordered the warehouse and another shiver went down my spine, I looked at the old place and stood still. Dead still, somebody was in there and they were staring right at me, the second window to the left a figure, well more a person, I could make out every feature of his body, his face, every single detail down to his glass right eye. The figure was wearing a white cloak type thing, it seemed to make him look slightly like a ghost to the untrained eye, he had a small brown beard, a scar on his right cheek, his one good eye was fixated on me, while his glass eye was staring off into the distance, I froze for a good ten minutes just staring at him as he stared back, then he walked off to the right towards the door, I ran as fast as I could up the road, where ever he had gone I didn't want to find out.

I've been away for awhile haha, thought I'd share one of my new stories :]
