Just bought it, wont work. Please help

Hey guys,
I just bought Fable: TLC for the PC. I installed it and everything but when I run it, it wont load and instead give me a message that says that "the game did not exit correctly" and that it advies me to run the game on it's safe mode... I do that and then it tells me there a Visual C ++ Error... Can anyone please help me here? I really want to play this game already.

- When it gives me the error screen, it tells me my PC settings: 1400MHz, 640MB, 128M nVidia (0x0181)

- I never loaded the game nor I have ever exited it so I really cant understand the whole "didnt exit correctly"... Just finished installing.

hmmm i had simalar problems with oblivion. try uninstalling it then installing and see if it works. if it doesnt, you proably dont have the proper graphics card.

I had problems with some of the messages you seem to be receiving;
The one about the game not exiting correctly still happens me but never prohibits me from playing. As for the safe mode thing, I get it alot as well but my game loads fine, even if I choose not to load it in safe mode. Check your specs before hand- make sure their all in proper order for playing the game if they are then I would go with Poppycock on this, reinstall and update drivers on the graphix card- that always seem to be the problem with a lot of people having errors when trying to Fable.... you are cutting it pretty fine with the minimum requirements for playing the game though.

If Dark Drak gives you advice follow it... hes clevered up to the max....

First of all try reinstall and update GFX Card Drivers, if that doesnt work then try this:

Create new user account in Windows XP. To create a new user account do the following:

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

1. Click Start, click Run, type nusrmgr.cpl, and then click OK.
2. Under Pick a task, click Create a new account.
3. Type the name that you want to use for the account, and then click Next.
4. Select the account type that you want, and then click Create Account.
5. Log on by using the new account, and then start the game.

Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition

1. Click Start, click Run, type nusrmgr.cpl, and then click OK.
2. On the Users tab, click Add.
3. Type a name for the new user account, type your full name, and then type a description for the account.
4. If the computer is set up as part of a client/server network, type the domain name, and then click Next.

Note If the computer is set up as an individual computer (without a network) or in a peer-to-peer network, you do not have to provide a domain name.

As this issue may occur if the Microsoft Windows XP profile is corrupted.
