Just finished game... Wow...
The only way to describe it is an adventure sim. All my choices had real effects, and I really enjoyed the last 30 minutes of the game. I am a big role-player so I take decisions seriously, and I'm very surprised at the route I took in the end. The more I thought about it, the more it made sense, though. I finished off the game by ascending to a high point and doing the scary laugh emote.
They really achieved what they promised this time around, and I feel like I've BARELY scratched the surface by just playing through the main plot once, with very few side quests. Seems like I've seen maybe 20% of the game now.
My only real complaint is the horrible interface and inventory system. I mean, what the hell is with 17 pages of Lucien's diary? And why aren't items sorted by most recent first? There were also quite a few bugs, but not nearly enough to take away from the experience at all.
