I have, in general, found it more difficult to keep my children Happy, as compared to my spouse. My spouse is usually fully happy (or close to it) whenever I return to them. My child, on the other hand, is usually in the lower half of happy, even if they "Loved" me when I left. Since children have this level above "Happy", I'm confused as to why they're perpetually less Happy than my spouse.

Anyone else notice this, or know why it is so?

This is the reason why I marry but not have kids. I think its because kids expect their parent to see them all the time, and to buy them gifts all the time. Your spouse, being a grown adult, understands that you have to go and save Albion. Your kids don't understand. They won't until they grow up, which doesn't happen in Fable III, so they are eternally asking you for a new toy gun or doll, even though you just gave them one five minutes ago.

Just a thought....
