Knothole Island : Storm Shrine

Ok, I don't usually post on forums but I'm about to go insane. On the 3rd quest on Knothole Island, I get to the room with the 5 pipes. You have to hit the glowing, floating thing with a skill, will, skill, skill, will. Only, I can't hit the first will. I've used every attack I have, all levels, in every position on the platform. Nothing. Can't hit it.

I was wondering, for those who have been through this, what magic spell you used, what level, and where on the platform? I really don't want to have to start this quest over again.

I used fireball level one. If you are facing the the right direction then it should automatically target and you should be able to just tap 'b'. That's basically the strategy for that part, make sure you are facing it and tap with the appropriate button. It can be pretty hard and take some time but you will get it eventually, just be prepared to be frustrated a few times. Hope that helped.

Also, Welcome to the forums! You can use the English language and don't seem to be a complete retard (Not that I'm saying you are a semi-retard. I'm saying there are alot of retarded new people who join and you arn't one of em. Congrats.) so therefore I hope you decide to stay for a long time =)

I appreciate it. I actually figured it out right before you posted but thanks anyway.

I guess you can call me a retard in some way because I never knew you could target will spells. I just don't use them much in battle so it wasn't a concern for me until that quest.

Don't feel bad, the first time I did this room, I was stumped by the shooting, since I had a ridiculously bad gun and it wouldn't shoot at the target without me aiming, which took too long. Live and learn.

Also the dog is pain in the ass to me every time I do this room. He seems to push me, which I don't get anywhere else.
