Team Bondi & Rockstars highly ambitious new detective title L.A. Noire has not only been widely praised by critics and the media but it now has a record to its name. According to a retail monitor it has become the UK's fastest-selling new video game IP ever. No specific sales figures have been revealed yet but first week sales are said to be 'on a par' with Rockstars highly acclaimed Western Epic Red Dead Redemption. The game is currently sitting comfortably on top of both the 360 and PS3 charts with Microsofts console holding 58% of the total sales of the game. It is now the 13th fastest-selling Xbox 360 game overall in the UK and the 11th fastest on PS3.

Quite impressive, hopefully I can get this game on my hands sometime soon.

Great game, somehow I'm not surprised. I'm currently on disc 2 in homicide its a great game and could very well last years with the cases being the 'missions', as they could just continually fish out new Cases over DLC. My only gripe is the combat and Phelp not being very light on his feet, makes combat abit akward and slow.

Aside from that I think its the best Rockstar game yet, Glad to hear this, hope they make a tonne of DLC as I can see myself playing this for a very long time if they did.

Yeah the combat feels a little slow and Cole is sometimes clunky and feels clumsy but other than that its been brilliant and i hope they do support it well.

I'm enjoying it a lot, I'm currently working the arson desk at the moment. Pretty deep into the game now.

Im on the Arson Desk too, only the first case though. Still got the DLC that came with the game to do & the badge pursuit then find all the hidden cars and newspapers (if i dont before the end of the game).

yeah, I'm finding myself doing a lot of street crime cases too most of them are pretty fun like the one with pervert taking photo's up girls skirts with the ancient camera. The vice case was one of my favourites, the cadilliac cop car was sweet to drive. I just wish that case could have lasted longer.

Because ive been playing it alongside my girlfriend i have only done about 9 of the street crimes and been getting into the cases as she enjoys them and not much fun watching someone drive endlessly around but i shall do everything (finding movie reels, hidden cars, street crimes) in my second playthrough or close to the end of the game.
