Lack of a better World
For the Better or the Worse?

Sean sat up against the cold, iron wall of the warehouse. His pistol in hand. He checked his clip, sadly, only a few rounds left, and worse, he kept feeling a sharp pain is his side, a result of his bullet wound, which was bleeding heavily. His blond hair was stained with blood due to his head injuries, blood trickling down his face. He could barley get up, let alone fight off the several enemies searching for him...He gripped onto the wall, and staggered up,he moaned quietly in pain, he heard something little ways behind the nearby crates.
He heard maybe two people talking nearby, "You find him yet?" one said, "Nope, not a clue, ******* must've sneaked off somewhere else, tell the others to look a bit more" he heard a faceless someone say. Sean leaned up against the wall, and limped towards another set of crates nearby.
He quickly sat down, and reloaded his pistol. "Huh? What was that?" he heard someone say, "What wat what?" another one asked, " I don't know, sounded like something hit the floor." Sean did not hesitate, he waited for his enemy too come to him, one of the men walked over to a crate of boxes and looked down into a corner. Waiting there, was a 9mm surprise, "Bingo" Sean said, he pulled the trigger, and a bullet soared into the mans head, and blood spattered over the crates. Sean got up as fast as he could, and limp-ran while unloading the few rounds he had left into three other enemies, and their bodies quickly his the floor.
Sean slowly, but painfully walked away, staggering as he did so. "Huh?" he said, as he heard clips hit the floor, and dove behind a small set of wooded boxes. Bullets flew, some even pierced the boxes and nearly hit him, he couldn't afford to be hit again. So, he opened one of the boxes, and to his great surprised, they each held several c-4 explosives. He had an idea. He slowly but surely got up from his position and quickly, unloaded the rest of his rounds in to his remaining enemies, and there now dead, bloody bodies, hit the hard floor with a hard thump.
He heard the warehouses alarms go off, by now, everyone here, knew he was here as well. That...is not good.
He was out of ammo, so he dropped his pistol and grabbed a fuse from, one of the other crates, the many boxes of explosives in that one area is enough to blow this place to hell and back again. He dragged the fuse over to the exit, and placed it down, while holding a lit match, and as soon as he looked up, there must've been 3 dozen men surrounding him, locked and loaded, ready to fire at will. He looked around, and dropped the match onto the fuse...it lit...The men looked horrified, so they all fired at Sean, but before they knew it, it was walking outside right in front of the warehouse...He thought to himself,
"3...2...1...boom..." There was a load explosion and fire reigned from the warehouse, every explosive in that place went off, fire lti up the sky, and he heard the screams of many men dying, and the loud bangs of the other bombs igniting, and exploding as well.
Sean walked away from the warehouse, up in flames...and he thought to himself "Hmmm...for all I know, this could be the start of something big, perhaps big enough to put many lives in danger...I wonder...but the real question is...was it for the better...or the worse?..."
