I dunno, doesn't really matter. The first one is new and I saw the other one and thought I may as well post that too. I haven't really been keeping up to date with Left4Dead.

Still think they could have included most new features in a patch for the original or some DLC. I will still probably buy it if it does have a decent amount of improvements.

I can't wait, I'm going to reserve it soon.
I'm a pro in L4D believe it or not, it's my favorite game on the 360 next to Fable II.
I used to play almost religiously. 2 hours+ daily from the end of November till around May.
Used to say one hour but my friends tell me two at the least 0.o
I still play but not as much as I used to.
Add me if you'd like to play sometime. =]

L4D2 is going to be great, I don't care for the fact that it's a new game, I just care for playing something new in the series.

Its exactly the same.. Could of just been a DLC.

I just hope that the apparent 'vast' improvements in the AI Director can actually be witnessed by the gamers and not just the guys that design it (just end up more optimised tools for them).

I see where those who complain are coming from but I doubt Valve could have given it out as DLC, it's an entirely new game. It's like saying that they should just have updated Gears of War I to II through DLC. I'm sure they have changed a lot more than they've stated so far.

The improvements to Gears was evident to everyone before they purchased the product and didnt come 12 months after Gears 1. People were mainly annoyed that L4D wasnt as supported DLC wise as other Valve products. However Valve have said they will continue support for L4D after L4D2 comes out which is a good thing. However most the players will now jump to the new game and the communities will be split and therefore less people playing the first so less games you can find online unfortunately. I dont really mind either way and will buy L4D2 but i can see the points of view of both groups.

sounds good 2 me i always thought left for dead was rubbish till i recently got it and i played versus that is awesome but one thing i hate is your team there such retards and sometimes i get friendly-fired a lot..... but im still going to buy it l4d2 ftw ....BTW can nayone play left for dead with me, i want a good friendly team with mics and understanding cause i hate randoms

"Another new thing that you're going to just love are the Spitters. These are the new special zombies that Valve are revealing, and they're just nasty. Spitters are area-of-denial specialists; they spit a fiery acid attack over long distances. If you're hit by them you take some damage, but Spitters don't need to hit to be effective. When their spit hits the ground it's like napalm; a wide swath suddenly lights up and if you walk into it you'll accumulate damage quickly. You have to wait for it to dissipate (about 5 to 10 seconds) before you can enter the area safely. Combined with the Charger (the first special introduced for the game), you can see how Valve is adapting to player tactics. If all four survivors crowd into a small closet to hold out, all a Spitter needs to do is spit in the room and the survivors have to get out or they'll die. But Spitters are also good for splitting up human players, say by preventing the others from reaching a straggler who's in trouble. Valve's Chet Faliszek said that playing a Spitter in Versus mode is "non-stop fun."
