Legacy of Kain

This is for discussing all things LoK related. It is in my personal top five of favorite series. Kain himself has found his way into my top 5 in the catagories of Protagonist, Antagonist, Hard A** and Vampire list(though that has so few to choose from). I personally love the story considering it made me think a little. Very memorable characters, enimies and gameplay. I am disapointed that there will be no more though since it would be killer on the 360. So anyone else care for the series? Why, why not?

Wait itsnt this the game were when you kill vampires with ablitys you absorb them? I think it was the second game were you after this sword.

In Soul Reaver which is part of the series(Second game) you play as a vampire (Raziel) who was killed by Kain and his other brethren and return as a wraith, and yes he kills them and absorbes their souls. But Kain is the cetrial story figure(antagonist in soul reaver but protagonist in blood omen and Defience), and he's a vampire.

lol i got the two mixed up. Blood omen was very good i wish they made more vampire games.

Yeah me too. There making somthing called Vampire Rain for the 360, but ever since I played LoK the other vampire games just dont cut it in the story and/or gamplay department.

Yeah but you play as a human. I wish there was a game about vampires that you will acctully play as one. I mean come on too many games your either a human or alien or other stuff. Vampire games are really rare.

Probably due to the small goth fanbase. . .:lol:. But on a more serious note your right, I hardly ever get to feed on the blod of the innocent nowdays.

Besides most games either suck or they are a rip off of a good game but still suck cause of not haveing there own ideas. Vampire games are what gamers all around the world want to play.

I've played Soul reaver the first one and thought it was cool. I'm working on Soul Reaver 2. I haven't beat Blood Omen the first one yet. I've beaten Blood Omen 2..over and over and over and over again and It's crack for me, except mine has scratches now and it doesn't woork very well.

I like that Raziel..is the one that killed himself. :lol:

I'm a BIG raziel fan. I love him. He's smexy. Just like Kain in Blood Omen 2.

Are you sure there won`t be any games in the series. I`ve heard there might come one as there were many unanswered things left in Defiance. (I`ve never played it myself though, but my friend has it).
I like Raziel more with his glowing eyes and mouth when he sucks souls... shame about his wings.

I got into the series after a random purchase of Blood Omen back in the days of the original Playstation.

I always prefered Kain over Raziel but a game featuring either would be good.

I'm currently getting through Blood Omen on the play station.
Quite annoying, I keep getting lost. But I'm playing it for the story line, and experience.

I always found the first game to be the hardest, bt its well worth it.
I also think BO2 was the funnest when it came to fights, but Defiance is the best all round imo.

I have all of them, but I'm not playing defiance until I finish blood omen 2, and Soul Reaver 2. I want to understand the story. So I'm playing them all in order. (Time line wise)

The only thing i didnt like about blood omen 2 was the blood. Its your health and if you dont feed you will die talk about a sucide mission. Yet i already comepleted the game so i have no worrys.

I thought that kinda made sense. I mean vampires need to feed.
The only thing I didn't like is that there was ONE weapon that Kain couldn't pick up.

( hits head) What i meant it made the game harder which i liked. I wonder if they will make more games.
