Legendary Pistol and Axe (Need Help)

Does anyone have any pointers for doing the crucible perfectly and getting 1st in the shooting range?

I can get all the way to the troll with no problem, but his last weak spot hides untill JUST after the perfect time is up. Is there a trick to getting them to expose?

And are there any over-all pointers for free-aim shooting? I can't seem to get above an average of 140 points in the shooting contest.

Also, I think I keep getting a bug where I go out of free aim mode while in the contest. I'm holding Y down, but it zooms out and shows my guy standing there. And it takes like, 3 seconds to go back into free-aim mode (It happens so much that it does make a difference.)

I havn't actualy tried this yet, but if you use the shock skill and aim it at him, it should point out the location of his weak spot, although its just a way to see where it is since the shock probebly wont hit.

So will that expose them, or just show me where they are? Because I need to find a way to EXPOSE them...

make sure you have a really good pistol and have the sub targeting skilll

Well I've got the legendary blunderbus (Shotgun). I'm good enough to get in close and blast the snot out of him. But when he doesn't expose his weak spots, there's nothing I can do...It feels like it's all in the luck.

about the shooting contest just try to make lots of headshots i used a master turret pistol but i think a clockwork pistol would be better i needed to repeat it 5 times then i got "the red dragon"
