Legendary Weapons

Can anyone tell me if I must past the Spire to access the legendary weapons in Knothole Island as well as the Chasm Armor. Thank you.

Pretty sure you can get the chasm armor before the spire as well as a couple of legendary weapons.. hmm
Actually I think you can get everything from the box of secrets before the spire ^_^

Yeh ... You can 100% complete knothole isle and get everything on it as soon as you kill thag and discover bowerstone market ....

^ no you cant. you can 100% it after youve gotten to bloodstone. after youve killed thag you can only do knothole islands big freeze, then after the crucible, you can do huge heat, then after wraithmarsh you can do drowning. after drowning everything is available in knothole island.
