Let PC ON at nigth for make money

Hi. Sorry for the stupid question at first.

I just want know if works to let my PC ON for several hours for accumulate money. And if works, can I stand at the Sanctuary or need I be in a village or somewhere else.

It does work but I can't reallt remember if you can do it from the sanctuary.. If yur are in land you can for sure though

I did this last night. I left the console on and I stood in the sanctuary the whole time. It doesn't show the money going up but once you leave the sanctuary the money will start adding up for you. I would stand in the sanctuary while away from the console for a while (like making food or talking on the phone or whatever) and after I left to go and explore or talk with villagers, the money was there.
