Like and Dislikes

Ok from what we know and what will learn over time put what u like and dis like about fable and fable 2.

I like the idea that theres going to be a Fable 2:P


I dislike that it's taking so long to come out!!! lol

you can't say what you Dislike about Fable 2..it hasn't even come out yet...so It'd be likes and dislikes of Fable and if that's the case then this thread should be moved.

He did say however that 'From What We Know' what do we dislike about Fable 2 im sure he means some of the ideas that have been confirmed and the rumours...

ARGH it's a vicious circle! Well maybe once more info comes out for Fable 2 or it actually comes out you can move it back.

I like the idea of height levels. I hope it means you will be able to jump

What I Liked About Fable/Fable TLC
  • It was a pretty easy going chilled out game.
  • Easy to understand the levelling system
  • The characters and the story.
  • The areas and countryside locations.
  • It wasnt really medievil based nor was it entirely fantasy based.
  • It was as if it had an entire culture behind it.
  • How you could just play for eternity when you complete it.
  • The way there were major and minor and other quests.
  • Lots of other things, too many to mention.
What I Disliked About Fable/Fable TLC
  • It was too short.
  • Couldt have children.
  • Sometimes way too easy.
  • Boss battles were sometimes anticlimatic.
What I Like About Fable 2
  • The ability to have children.
  • The abiltiy to pick your sex.
  • Larger areas.
  • More mature stuff.
  • The way what you do to a village/camp affects it.
  • Lucien is an awesome name for an enemy.
  • The way your character will mature.
  • The possibility of being a pirate/highwayman
  • The way we can have jobs.
What I Dislike About Fable 2
  • The dog idea may **** me off.
  • The possibility we may be pigeon holed into a certain class or be limited to the skills we can learn.
  • The possibilty they may not let us play on after we finish the game
  • The fact I distrust some of the things that have been said and that some features may not make it.
  • The fact they make overcomplicate the exp/renown system which would ruin it.

Seriously, I could have went on forever on the list of things I liked about Fable but it would be too time consuming and people would have got bored reading....

Sorry, just back from hospital, they found me foaming at the mouth and having a seizure... doctor didnt know what caused it... Im assuming it was an OD on rep like you guys said, seriously- its good in small doses. Why does everybodies rep say Fable 2 on it O_o

Another thing I like about Fable is the little humourous moments throughout it and how alot of the game is distinctly British.... like Union Jack undies :D

Yeah I lovd the friggin Britsh people. Also in the beginning of the game how when you stand in the middle of the boxes, th little kid says, are you gonna stand there like a lemon. THat cracked me up for days. I love the brits and how it was written in Old English "Armour" and other words. it was pretty cool. DAMN BRITISH

Albion is actually a really old word for England..or Great Britian, I can't recall which one really.

And "armour" isn't really Ye Olde English - as far as I know "armour" and "colour" are still used in England today, while "armor" and "color" being American English.

On a similar, rather off-topic note: We've been having sort of a tourist invasion here in Kalmar, Sweden. Alot of people running around town talking English. Guess they are sorta dissapointed by the lack off snow, I know I am...

Anyhow, I actually found a Five Pence coin on the ground one day, dropped by the tourists! Sorta a niffty little thing to have in my wallet, made it my lucky coin, hehe... Very small I gotta say, it's alot smaller than even the smallest of our Swedish coins.

What I like about Fable is that it is so totally RPG. And that you can be yourself, like if you feel like punching a little annoying child in the face for looking at you and making wierd noises, or for going to school you can!
I also like the idea of being able to marry...
But for the best thing is being able to be EVIL there is no stop to how much fun being evil can be. Like breaking windows and other fun stuff.

But some things I don't like about fable is that you can't have kids, and it would be cool if you could climb through windows. Another fun thing to do is if you broke into someones house you could shut the door yourself, (until you leave) therefore making sure nobody can just walk up to the door and give you a fine.
I would also like it if there where more spells for your align, where as you can only get them and use them when you are full evil or full good. Like for evil you could open a demonic portals letting around 5 or 10 demons come through and fight for you, even if they only last a few minutes. Or if your good have like angels fly down and help you, just stuff like that would be pretty awesome.
I think it would also be cool if you could make a clan or something and as you got more renown more people would join, and by the end of the game you almost have like a small army... which you could choose to fight whomever you wanted with.
Or if there was a king and a queen, that had an army that fought other countrys and you could fight for or against, or if you got your small army up you could try to over power the king and queen and become a king yourself.
Another thing my sister mentioned to me would be pretty cool is if they didn't just make it so you were a guy, and that in the beginning you got to choose if you wanted to be a boy or a girl.
I would also love it if you could own animals, like chickens. So they could make you crunchy chicks. And other wierd stuff like that.
But i would really like it if you could fight more dragons, and maybe be able to like tame one and keep it more as a companion than a pet, even if they get no bigger than a bird and usually stay on your shoulder, or are big and you could fight with them..
I also would like it if you could sacrifice more people at Skorm's to always stay young.
