Lionhead to Fix Fable 2's Achievement Fault with See the Future

Fable 2's "See the Future" DLC which is set to drop in May not only sees more achievements for folks out there, but the free update looks to remedy the achievement issue that we've raised so many times in the past. You know ... the fact that Fable 2 required you to buy the Pub Games DLC to unlock a few items required for the Completionist achievement.

So.. You wont need Pub Games to get the items, etc? If so, that's cool.

You don't "need" those items to get the completionist achievement because you can get it by co-oping with someone else. It's cool that they are doing it anyway.

for those lucky enough to pre-order fable 2, pub games came as a free bonus, but it really should have been a free DLC anyway. unfortunately some people missed out on that opportunity, and were naive enough to purchase it anyway. It still would have been free to get that achievement for most people if it was an exclusive DLC, available to only those who pre-ordered, then others could get it through the 'or see another hero do so' method. Honestly, i think it's a moot point, but i still feel sorry for those who thought they had to purchase the DLC. Even though this issue is being sorted now, those people still aren't going to get their 800 points back!!

I haven't made up my mind on what I think about this yet!

They should have given away the Pub Games from the very beginning. I'm sure they would have gotten a lot more people to play it and it would have likely helped with the sale of Fable II.

Pub games was terrible if all pub games were like that i would have stopped drinking
