Lives Questions

I've got 80$ and im thinking of buying a game (xbox, gamecube) or a box set (anime, scifi, martial arts)

Any suggestions:rolleyes:

Re: Lives Questions

You should send the money to me, thats a real investment right there...

Re: Lives Questions

What genres you into and what movies do you like?

Re: Lives Questions

Put it towards an Xbox 360 - provided you haven't already got one, of course.

He will need to save up abit more cash in that case :P

Re: Lives Questions

If you hunt around, you could probably find a Gamecube at a used game store for less than $60 (American dollars) easily. The least I've ever seen an XBox (original) listed for was $119.00. Thus, there's a major difference between buying one of the two listed consoles if you're not looking to spend any extra money beyond the $80.00.

With that in mind, you could probably get a used Gamecube and one game to start with for about $80.00.

The true question is what sort of games are you interested in?

If you're into sports, racing and shooter games, to mention just a few genres, then an XBox would most likely be the way to go.

If you're a hardcore fan of the franchises Nintendo created (e.g., Mario Brothers, Metroid, etc.) and (for the most part) more family-friendly games, a Gamecube would be the direction which I would direct you towards.

Then again, you could do like projectego suggested, and start saving up for a XBox 360 (or Wii).

Hope that helps....

Edit: It seems I might have been confused...do you already have an XBox, and are wondering if you should get some games with the $80 to go along with it? If so, take the information I gave you regarding XBox games in mind.

Well, even if it was a possibility, considering Collosus's age, I don't see that happening. I know that when I was Collosus's age $80 was like gold to me.

Heck, $80 is still like gold to me.... :P

Re: Lives Questions

yes it is isnt

Re: Lives Questions

Well im into anime, scifi and action

and i already own a gamecube and a xbox but i dont think i'll save that long to get the 360 i had $120 but i spent $40 on coke and candy

Re: Lives Questions

I'm gonna assume "coke and candy" are not slang for Cocaine and PCP, so...

If you already have a Gamecube, I'd recommend Super Smash Brother's Melee. From 2,500+ hours of experience, I can safely say that that is probably the best multi-player fighting game I have ever played. Yes, I know there are other great fighting games, but where else could you have 4 players on the screen acting upon each other? And where else can a Mr. Saturn spell victory or defeat? WHERE I ASK YOU, WHERE????

Re: Lives Questions

Hahaha! That actually made me laugh in real life... +rep ^_^

Oh yeah and the X-Men 3 is awesome. If you have any cash left I'd consider investing in Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Special Edition as it seems to be selling dirt cheap and well... it just plain rules. True story.
