Load Save Before End Game (Spoilers)?

So I was in the one year countdown before the invasion and had ample money in my personal treasury to cover the mark. However, with more than 200 days left and after listening to Aurora's request for an outpost and Sabine request, the game jumped ahead to the battle in Bowerstone.

Any way to load a prior save? There was no warning that the one year anniversary was the next act, which sucks!

Actually, the last act is 1xx days. And if you have already saved... well, you are kinda stuck.
