Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

Sorry for the provocative title, but I am looking to introduce someone to the series. BUT, being a relative newbie myself I have yet to establish a solid argument as to why this person should play the game (FableII when its released), oh, and its my girlfriend :D

So, I'd love to hear any points that I could use in my argument FOR Fable :p Afterall its a great series and having someone else close to home to play the game with would be great - no?

Well, here I open the floor ^__^
I will happily award rep for any point that I can use :ninja:

p.s.

Although Feminine views are most welcome, guys, if you have a point that may help I'll happily listen :D

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

Simple: Because it would make Fable II that much more enjoyable. And if she answer "Who cares?" I suggest dumping her. Dump her now!

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

Mentioning pregnancy and interior design of properties may help. It worked for the sims...

AHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAAHAHAH LOL XD

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

generally speaking:

women love to create things

men love to destroy things

odd isn't it?

just emphasize the fact that in fable you get to create a story and forge a life. you get choices that shape and design your character. don't leave out pregnancy or the fact that you can play as a woman either.

on the other hand, just tell a man he can kill lots of stuff anyway he wants (like kicking someone from a chandelier, or stabbing someone against a wall, or tossing someone off a tower) and they're hooked. lol.

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

I love sims.

Well I'm a girl most days and I love the fighting aspect of the game.
So haha.
Uhm just say you can play as a female character, have a family and such, decorate have a job. and such.

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

LOL very valid points rep has been awarded accodingly :D

Tsuyu and Dark Drakan thanks for the laughs ^___^

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

Maybe you should mention that if you're a guy, you can be gay
HAHAHA jk.
You could mention that you get a dog in the second one.
I know I think the idea is way cute.
Just like I think it's cute how in The Twilight Princess that Link can pick up puppies and cats haha.

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

Well if she likes sims it's likely she'll like Fable II but try not to make is seem like that's all there is to the game. There are the cute animations for the dog, the expressions, you have almost limitless control over your character. Of course it always helps if she was into some sort of game before. Don't try to force her into it if she doesn't want to. Maybe she can watch you play so she can get the idea and learn the controls, then let her make a character and play for a while.

Personally, I've been playing video games my whole life. I was three when I started playing on a nintendo so my boyfriend never had that problem... But with that we get very competitive so it's not necessarily better....

You should see us playing Mortal combat or Soul Calibur.... it's brutal...

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

I have a feeling once she hears the music, and watches you play the game, her interest will increase.:)
That's what drew me, was the music. I just downloaded my free music. It's available today, in case someone's interested.

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

My dear, dear dumb blondie of a sister started playing Fable I recently, and will probably play Fable II.

I can't really help, though. My sister got addicted to RPGs from KotOR, so Fable wasn't too much of a jump. The ability to have a female character was a draw, though. Initially I couldn't get her to play Fable because you could only play as a guy.

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

Hmm... two questions:

1. How blonde, and respectively, dumb is she?

2. Could you introduce us?

2. Weeeel. Here's the thing: I don't know that my sister wouldn't kick your ass. And, well, I just don't need to open myself to those kinda lawsuits.

1. Blond? Er... darkish-blond-like. Dumb? The only reason I call her dumb is because she A) Has ****ty taste in books, a lot of the time; and B) She has a tendency to do really dumb/completely lacking in common sense things. Like, say, doing homework assignments and not turning them in; or not cleaning her room when she gets offered a sleepover in return and given all day to do the cleaning. Compared to, say, library patrons, she's BRILLIANT.

3. She's also fifteen, which is kinda sick, man. I mean, jeeze, you're 19.

Re: Looking for Info-Ladies, if you please ;p

Hmmm... this certainly became awkward quickly.

In my defense I claim ignorance of the fact that she is 15.

Oh, yeah, that's what they all say when the cameras jump out and their pants are around their ankles in a suburban living room.

Is comparing you to a pedophile a bit extreme? Possibly, possibly.

Not to worry, jusy me attempting humor.
