No this aint an actual fracture of a bone but a game. very unique game..
This game called 'Fracture' is being made by Lucas Films aka the people who made Star Wars. This is giving a really big new twist on the 3rd person shooting genre, there are around 4 grenades to choose from.. wich i cant remember.. but they ALL shift the land!! if throw a certain grenade the earth will rise into a pillar or another creates a vortex and everything gets sucked into the earth. this is for 'Tactical Advantage' and for solving Puzzles within the game. so all in all you get the morph the land to the way you want it! prettty dam sweet!!
The story is in the Future, i think i read 2090?! but anyways it has to deal with all the problems now and more. such as Global Warming etc.
Basically, about 100 years in the future, a bunch of East Coast scientists create the first genetically engineered humans, but something goes horribly awry (as these things tend to do) and the first generation of Humanity 2.0 dies terrible deaths. Outraged at science run amok, the Eastern states outlaw genetic engineering, which sends the scientists to the West Coast, where they're welcome. A few decades later, the East Coast attempts to completely outlaw genetic engineering nationwide, which causes the West Coast to secede from the union and trigger a civil war. On one side is the high-tech, cybernetic East Coast and its European allies, forming the Atlantic Alliance, while on the other side is the West Coast and its Asian allies, forming the Republic of Pacifica. Oh, and we should mention that global warming created a slew of natural disasters like earthquakes and floods that pretty much wiped out the Midwest, meaning West Coast and East Coast are physically divided by water.
