You can typically find it in dig spots or otherwise lying about. I've gotten it once or twice as a gift from a villager. You can probably get it at the book store in Bowerstone; it's pretty common, just look around.

yea ill bet it depends on the economy of ur town tho, a lot of things are like that in the game, like those damn puny carrots
