maelstrom crazy!

Ive been wondering lately why everybody wants the maelstrom? its not that hard to get..... or is it because people who want to stay evil cant get the monks to follow them? i dont know, i cant figure it out.:wassat:

People who want to stay good don't want to kill a dozen people for it.

in my first play through i got the maelstrom and rising sun. All you have to do is do the sacrificing to the shadows before you do the defending the light quest.

Why they want the Maelstrom? That's because it's good-looking, and of course, quite easy to get. But I guess the looks are the main reason why people want to get that weapon so badly.
And yes, it's easy to sacrifice people. You just need the right timing if it comes to the 'ultimate sacrifice'.
