There is absolutely no reason for the game to be made without a way to turn off autosave patch this or explain how to do this through an ini file or something.
Take it you're on the PC then. If you don't want to be bothered with the autosave then ignore it and use your manual saves instead (3rd slot onwards). Works just fine for me that way.
I wanna add that we're not officially affiliated with Lionhead themselves and that we'd prefer you take your complaints up with them. We don't take kindly to being yelled at.
