Man I love garage sales.

I went out garage selling today and the first few I hit were all busts but I hit one garage sell that had a DVD player for $7.50. They did not have the RCA cords for it so I talked them down to $6.00 for it.

I started out againg and found mostly garbage but than I found the motherload. The place didnt have any games out but I asked anyways and they told me they had some old ones. I asked to take a look at them and they pulled a bag out of there garage. I looked in and saw some SNES games at first I saw Street Fighter 2 and F-Zero racing and than I saw Final Fantasy 2 and below that was Finakl Fantasy 3 all great shape. I didnt even check the other games I just asked calmy how much for the bag. They said $10.00 and they would throw in a Super Advantage SNES arcade pad. I just handed them the money and left. i went home and found a old RCA cord and tested my DVD player and found out it worked perfectly. I than checked the rest of the games and there was 10 all total.

Well I took them out and tested them all and they worked perfectly. So for a total of $16.00 I got 10 SNES games one SNES arcade pad and a DVD player.

I love garage sells to man, I went to one and bought Guild Wars Factions for 5 bucks, still in the box.

Final Fantasy II & III are especially nice. I never played any of the uh... those who go beyond the Nintendo 64 or whatever, but I "love" the old ones. You know, these:

They are all good. Got me an emulator on my school laptop because frankly, that's about as advanced I can get on it, and I love playing them.

Does "still in the box" mean that it was unused? Or that it was just in the box... Like, were you paying for the game or the account? If you got the account and everything then well done....

Yeah, Thrift Stores and Yard Sales and assorted places to get cheap stuff rule. Over the years I've gotten roughly fifty billion books, two blacklights (for Halloween decorations), but only one game... and that was a beat-up Sega Berenstein Bears game for my little sister.

Awesome! Looks like you scored yourself a real bargain, Gollak_Khal. And, wow, I'd love to get my hands on a copy of Street Fighter II again... haven't played that since I was about 8 years old.... good times. ^_^

Last year I got a strategy guide for The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition for 50 cents at a garage sale. I than sold it on eBay for $50 that was a good find.

I wish I had gone to the garage sale you went to. Oh well, for me it all depends on luck when it comes to those kinds of things, and I never seem to have any luck in finding something. Nice stuff and that dvd player is pretty nice.

It still had the plastic wrap around it. Meaning I payed 5 bucks for the game and the account
