Man vs Wild (Also known as Bear Grylls: Born Survivor in Europe)

I have just gotten into this show on Discovery (the show is at about its third season), and I have to admit I'm addicted. I think some fans of the show, like me, have been to a place he has filmed (as for me it is the Alps), and I recognize his survival techniques, which are very important to know. I think this is also shown on Channel 4 in the UK (called Born Survivor), as well as in the US (Man vs Wild).

I just have to say right off the bat, this guy is pretty brave. There have been clear reports of him staying in motels, even doing a shot near civilization, but people don't realize his purpose, (which is to give you some useful tips for survival). This guy is also the youngest Brit to climb to the summit of Mt. Everest, petrol-powered paraglide (if that's what you call it) over the mountain, and was part of the Special Forces...so he knows his way around.

So I was just wondering, does anyone else watch this?

I used to watch a lot of his stuff when i was younger, i was really into things like this and learning about survival techniques etc. Along with a lot of other shows of a similar nature to this.

I've never heard of this show or its UK counterpart...but I used to love Nick Frost's Danger 10,000 Volts show. Not always fully serious but amusing stuff nonetheless :D

I liked it when he got a load of really dangerous spiders in separate tanks and then stuck photos of celebrities he hated onto sticks and gently poked the spiders until they attacked just to see how cranky each species was and also which celebrity they hated the most. I think the winner was some has-been film star...
