Mario Galaxy Tops Metacritic Ratings

Nintendo's new game in the long running Mario series Super Mario Galaxy is receiving rave reviews everywhere, seems the jolly plumber hasnt shown any signs of age.

It has scored an average review score of 97 on the score compiling website, Metacritic.

This score beats Halo 3's average of 94, and steals the top spot from Bioshock, which scored 96. This also puts Call of Duty 4 (95), Gears of War (94), The Orange Box (96) and Oblivion (93) down a peg. The highest-scoring PS3-exclusive is Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, with 89.

This game has a real attraction for me...I'd love to have a Wii so I can go nuts with this one
