Marry the garden lady?

I know you can marry the girl who constantly talked about your courtship with Lady Grey in the opposite garden/courtyard than her. The thing is, instead of going to her first, I went to Lady Grey and rejected her offer to marry. Now I can't find the garden lady and I'm wondering if she will ever come back or is she somewhere else? Or was I suppose to go to her instead of rejecting Lady Grey first thing?

I always wondered how to court her...I've sat there for 20 minutes giving her gifts and flirty expressions, and she doesn't seem effected by them.
