Mastering: The Arena

If you want to get bright plate armor, 9 resserection phials, and master weapons and bows before you go into the arena, this is what you do (ive done it and it works) but it helps if u have a good alignment

get your guile up to 3 or 4 (the higher the better) then when in the arena room right befor you go out and fight, go to the shop in the middle of the room, make sure that he has a lot of potions and that he is selling them cheap, then buy all of them, after u do this, sell them back to him, making bout 5-8000 profit each time, make sure you buy EVERY health and magic potion and sell EVERY one back to him at the same time, or it wont work.

using this method buy your full set of bright plate armor, augmentations, idk what master weapons he sells but you will be able to afford them all, and a master bow which u can put full augmentations on, and oh yeah, bout 60 health and magic potions each.

hope im not copying anyone, and that u can use this method in the arena. i only had chainmail when i went in there, and i had full bright plate when i came out, also, if you want to get a huge amount of skill points, this is how.

use the above method to get the master bow/crossbow (i reccomend bow) and pimp it out with full auguments *peircing, sharpening, lightning or flame* dont do silver cause it will only help on two different waves of enemys.

once u r done with this, go into the arena, it would help a LOT if you have personal sheild, lvl 2 will do but lvl 3 is really great, put on your personal shield and never let it die, then use slow time *you dont have to but it helps you dodge the enemys* and run around shooting people with your bow, every hit you make will give u a minimum of 120 skill experience, try to hit them as many times as you can, which means you dont have to pull back your bow much at all, and use your bow as much as possible, if you cant help it then never use your melee weapon at all.

doing this will wrack up massive skill and magic points, you should have bout 55000 skill points and the usual general points *45000 - 65000* because you use the shield, and no one hits you, your multiplyer will allmost constantly be above 20, so you get a whole lot more general experience. and when you come out of the arena, you can do pretty much anything you want, and buy anything you want (skills and items).

if you want to wreak even more massive skill points, right before or after u fight arachanox *scorpian* hero save, then load the save and you will be transported to outside the arena, with all of your skill points, weapons, and money you had before you started to fight, then go do it all again, after you visit the heros guild and upgrade your skills of course.

hope this helps:D

Re: Mastering:The Arena

The economy of Fable is pretty basic, and can be exploited like that with any item. I always started off with potions, buy all, sell all, repeat x 40, move on to gemstones, buy all, sell all, repeat. A higher guile rating gives you better prices so that it takes less time to rack up more money.

Also, if you have a combat multiplier going while you sell something, it affects how much skill experience you get per transaction.

On topic: Yeah, old news actually...sorry to rain on your parade.

Off topic: Yay!A Night at the Roxbury! God damn, I love that movie...

Re: Mastering: The Arena

Hey, no need to apologise! There are alot of people out there who did not know about this. I bet that took some time to write up and I for one appreciate your taking the time to do this. Good work. :) +rep

Tsuyu feeling like the bad guy and me looking like one of the good guys who would have seen that coming

Yeah it is well known but must have took him a while to type it so for the effort and time taken i thought he deserved some rep ^_^

Re: Mastering: The Arena

I never use this type of exploit anyway. Money is easy to get in fable.

Re: Mastering: The Arena

All money exploits are useful - I only stick to one or two so others are always helpful for me. :D

Re: Mastering: The Arena

ill be posting how to max your skills soon.

Re: Mastering: The Arena

Cheating the Arena is pathetically easy nowadays... I can rack up numerous stuff without even trying.

My question is how is it difficult to get all that stuff while regularly going through the game? O.o
