Mega Man Legends 3 Officially Ceased

The classic Mega Man series that started on the original Playstation will also remain dead on it, according to recent news from Capcom. The 3rd sequel which had been announced years ago as being in development had been confirmed to be canceled. Following that news, Mega Man fans refused to stand for such a decision and created petitions and even a Facebook group that amassed over 37,000 members begging Capcom to continue development.. but still to no avail, as Capcom stated the following:​

"We are aware of the fan created Facebook page requesting that we resume development of Mega Man Legends 3. While Capcom has a built a strong relationship with its community and values their feedback, Mega Man Legends 3 development has officially ceased without plans to resume development." - Capcom​

With news like this, it saddens me at the possibility of Capcom's other excellent series Power Stone that likely won't be seeing a 3rd sequel either.​
