Member Attitudes
Ok, so it's been quite apparent recently that some of the members here have been given a certain amount of leeway regarding their attitude towards others. Now whilst we don't wish to "lay down the law", it really isn't on when one member decides to pick apart what another has said - cushioning your attacks on one another with "I'm not trying to start anything" or "No offence" does not mean you are exempt from being pulled up on your behaviour.
It's not pleasant to have to write a post like this but lately we've seen people being publicly berated for their actions by members who seem to think that they are above the rules of this site. If you have reason to take issue with what another member has said, try to either discuss it with them privately via PM or talk to a member of the forum team about it - if something is blatantly out of order, one of the team will sort it out accordingly - it is not up to you to start arguments and then try to wriggle out by saying "Don't take me too seriously" or "I'm only saying".
In future, members who are consistently rude, belittling and jumping all over people's posts may find themselves subject to certain sanctions - be aware that whilst we value all of our members, no one is above the law and it doesn't matter who you may be friends with or what kind of reputation you may have made for yourself - there will be no favouritism whatsoever.
