Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance Pc Help - Please Help

Well i got the game today and tried to install it on my pc i did it and after that when i start the game it is a black screen. I have no clue how to get it to work and i have tried various ways listed on the internet. Some of these include running in compatibility mode. I am playing on a 32bit Vista Home Premium Laptop.

Try to run the game into XP Compatibility mode. I have heard that the game cannot be run through on-board graphics cards, this includes laptops.

I seen someone i know play mgs2 on a laptop and he has an onboard graphics card and vista but i forgot who. But i tryed and there was no luck :/
