Meteor (kinda rushed it)
Just to say: I dont believe in evolution or anyhthing, but this is the funnest thing for dinos I could come up with (next to some nasty stuff

Chad looked across the field, the herbivores were grazing. He counted four triceritops and five stegosaurus, he made a loud chirp to alert the rest of the raptor pack to make an advance, there were ten in his pack. They would surround the herbivores and pounce, he heard a loud reply: a series of chirps in a row followed by a large squeal. He made his advance warily as not to attract anymore attention then they already had, the stegs were alert and looking around obviously frightened, while the triceritops were in guard mode. Then over the hill came the rest of the pack, and chad ran towards their prey with a squeal and a sqwuak, he pounced on the nearest triceritops and took a bite out of its side, it moaned in reply and shook him off. By the time he righted himself it was about to charge, thats when the alpha female, Melissa, jumped on it and saved him. She turned to him "Be careful next time!" she snapped, "Yes mam!" he replied and looked over to see that the pack had downed another tritops and the rest of their prey had escaped. They began dragging the corpses of their prey into the cave that they have taken refuge in.
The wind was blowing heavily, knocking over trees and the pack was feasting, there was blood everywhere... Chad took a large bite and looked up at Melissa as she took a chunk from it. The piece of flesh dangling out ot her soft scaley jaw, and just as quickly as she had taken it out she swallowed it. Melissa looked back at Chad and smiled, a friendly grin, they continued eating until they were no longer hungry, then they layed down to wait the storm out, Chad sighed. apparantly a few raptors had noticed "Hey cheer up Chad," Mike said "your new, you shouldnt beat yourself up to much: it took us several times to get good." thats when Melissa jumped in "Yeah," she said "and dont worry, before when I snapped at you I didnt mean to be angry, I just meant to teach you." "Thanks," Chad replied to the whole pack "Thank you for being so patient with me, I promise I will do my best!" they all smiled at him and a few nodded, then they all slept.
The next day the pack was heading out for a drink when they discovered something behind the trees, "What is it?" one of them asked, Chad had not gotten too familiar with them, no one answered the question. They kept staring then they heard a throaty growl " A Tyranasaur!!" Melissa screamed "Split up!" she yelled again, they all ran and the Rex gave chase, wait there were actually two. Chad ran and lost sight of all the pack except Melissa, she was several yards away heading into a chasm that would lead away from here, to the emergency meeting area. He heard two screams from his comrades one he couldnt recognize, however the other was Jakob.
Then he lost sight of Melissa, she entered the chasm thtas when he saw a baby Rex enter, 'It must be a whole family' he thought as he ran, then Chad heard two more screams, two more he didnt know... That meant it was only him Mike and Melissa left he kept running, then zig-zagging when he thought he saw a Rex, he made a left and returned to a jog, he was heading towards them eeting spot. Chad arrived there and found Melissa bleeding next to the carcass of the baby T-Rex, "Chad!" she excllaimed and got up, only to fall down again, he caught her "Stay still, the cuts arent to bad." "Thanks," she replied, she looked up at him and smiled "I owe you one." he began nursing her wounds, "Have you seen the rest of the pack?" she asked nervous "I heard them get attacked," he replied "they might have made it though!" "No!" she replied, "The only reason I survived is it was an infant, they were attacked by adults," she sighed and a tear dripped down, she made a low clicking sound "they are gone." "Mike!" Chad exclaimed so loud Melissa flinched "Mike is still out there, I didnt hear him get attacked." he smiled "Im here!" a voice yelled from the bushes. "Mike?" Asked them in unison, "Yeah its me," he replied as he stepped out of the bushes unharmed "anyone else make it?" Chad shook his head and Mike sighed, they sat together to keep an eye on Melissa.
They had dozed off, the first awake was Mike, he went out for a solo hunt. Then Chad woke just a few minutes later and stared at Melissa "I wish we could live without this," he whispered to himself "without the constant worry, just you and me, together." "Huh?" Mike asked, he just returned with a small herbivore, "Nothing!" Chad declared, this woke Melissa up and they ate. after the meal they made theyre way to a watering hole, they drank and tried to lighten the mood with talks of the sunshine and the grass moving in the breeze, it never truly took theyre minds off the others... Thats when they heard a large crack like thunder, they looked up to see a large rock falling from the sky, they all felt a deep fright... Mike looked down and sighed, "This feels like the end of the road doesnt it?" the rock crashed, and they all fell down from the shockwave. Mike was unconcious, Chad and Melissa looked up and saw the shockwaves ripping the Earth apart! "I heard what you said," she said "What?" he asked concerned "I just want you to know, I love you too..." they held claws, and spent there last momentstogether, and shared a passionate kiss before the final shockwave rippled through the ground.
