Mic problem

I just got a mic and im trying to record and send voice clips to people on msn messengar and it says "No sound was heard" what do i have 2 do?

you should be able to go into Tools, then Audio Video options, and it'll walk you through testing it and setting it up...

Yeah i had abit of trouble when i first set mine up and had to turn 'Microphone Boost' on to make my voice clear enough and loud enough to make out.

MSN has been a pain today and wouldnt let me and Hex even send messages to each other for a while so...

Is the mic plugged into the right place?

when you went through the audio set up, did it register that you had a mic first of all?
and if it did, did it register the vloume as being good? cause if you have it set too quiet it wont record it right...

just try checking volume control sometimes that can be it if not ill have to search
