Microsoft and Nintendo Announce Wii60 Bundle

This may be an April fools joke but it's interesting none the less

"Wii failed to reach the masses as no hardcore gamers will buy the same console his young sister and grandparents chose," says Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. "But with the Wii60 Bundle we are finally getting that hardcore crowd!"

"The Nintendo Wii was about to surpass the Xbox 360 installed base, so we needed to do something to avoid falling into a second place" says Peter Moore, Corporate Vice President of the Interactive Entertainment Business and Devices Division of Microsoft Corp. "Now, with the Wii60 Bundle, neither Nintendo nor Microsoft can lose the next generation console war!"

The Wii60 Bundle will be sold at an affordable MSRP of just $449.99 and it will be available on November 21, 2007.

Well for one, "affordable MSRP of just $449.99" Affordable? I doubt that's the right word? And considering they have an article about a "P.I.M.P" edition of Halo 3, not to mention many more similar articles ironically posted on April 1, 2007 make me think it's not true :wacko:
