Microsoft reveal the most played games on Xbox Live, Fable 2 appears wit other fables

Hi guys I was surfing the net and I discovered this article:

If you haven’t clicked it (for what so ever reason) it shows the most played Xbox/Xbox 360 games played by members of Xbox Live. Guess What! On the list every single Fable game made it!

Fable II was the 11th most played game on Xbox 360 (All the others being Online shooters, music games and free demos.)

Also Fable II: Pub Games was the 7th most played Arcade Game.

Oh and on the original Xbox, Fable was the 2nd most played game, and Fable: The Lost Chapters was the 4th most played game.

Oh I’m confused though because I’m not sure if the Xbox 360 list only includes online titles, where’s Fallout 3? But it’s strange since Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters made it to the original Xbox list and you can’t play online.


So who is this Major Nelson guy?

I'm surprised how well pub games did, it wasn't that brilliant. Also i didn't expect Fable to beat Fable: The Lost Chapters. And get so high, well i never got Xbox Live on my original Xbox so I didn't know it was that popular. But that was good surprise

It seems the 360 list includes only online playable titles and the Xbox list contains just playtime thats logged on the Live servers even when playing single player games. Thats the reason Fallout 3 is missing from the 360 line-up.

At the rate Fable is growing, xbox could make a killing by charging us by the hour to play this online it's a scary thought, but you know those guys would be RICH.
