Microsofts Repair System
After hearing all the horror stories and people unhappy with Microsoft Customer Support after their 360s died i got worried. As mine got the RROD just over a week ago (as many of you will know) and i had to send it off to be repaired. However the repair service and system was amazingly well organised and easy to use. I didnt even have to make one phonecall to the Xbox Support team and did everything online. Simply hopped online and printed off the UPS labels there and then and registered my console for repair on Xbox.com. All the details you needed were there and was simple and no hassle at all.
My console has just arrived back after 1 week (even after being sent to Germany for repair). New motherboard and even a new DVD drive, along with a month free Xbox Live Gold. I cant fault the service at all and only made this thread to compliment Microsoft on a good service after having so much bad said about it. Just got to get my cables back from Steves and i can actually test it out.
