Midnight Showtime?

For those of us who have to wait for the midnight release what time will you be showing up? I know some guys are

and show up super early. Im probably going to be there around 10:30 - 11:00. I was at the midnight release for Halo 2 and the line was super long at like 10:30.

well our gamestop gives out papers at 10pm once you have paid it fully...then they make a line and it takes 3 seconds a person at midnight.

so i'll prolly show up at 11:30 or 11:45. already got it preordered so it dont mind waiting to play at 12:30

Man I wasn't planning on going til tuesday morning but I just called and my gamestop's having refreshments at 11 and I have a feeling we may not have to wait until EXACTLY midnight for the game...? no idea, any ideas on that part? but yeah, I'll be going for sure, why not, my class isn't until 11:15 the next morning, I just hope I can get to sleep by 2 or 3...

Man I wasn't planning on going til tuesday morning but I just called and my gamestop's having refreshments at 11 and I have a feeling we may not have to wait until EXACTLY midnight for the game...? no idea, any ideas on that part? but yeah, I'll be going for sure, why not, my class isn't until 11:15 the next morning, I just hope I can get to sleep by 2 or 3...

For Realz?!:O IDK if our Gamestop is doing that. Hmmmm Ill have to do some investigating. Hopefully they'll be giving free stuff away OR even better giving the game out before 11. Whats the point in waiting anyways. Were going to get it regardless. I know theres legal crap that goes into it, but who cares if its an hour earlier! Thank God Im not in college. I told my wife she'll be on the back burner for 2 freakin days(I have Tue and Wed off work :w00t!

I'm showing up at 10. I showed up at 8 for Halo 3 and I was eigth in line. I won't mind being a little further back this time, I assume the line won't be AS long. But yeah. for Halo 3 they served refreshments and had a Halo 2 tournament with prizes. Hope they do somethinglike that TOMORROW.

I remember hearing about 2 guys that camped outside a gameshop like 5 days before Halo 3's release and they took it in turns to guard the post e.g. one would go to work whilst the other queued and then they would swap over etc.)

My gamespot just called. They are having something at 10:00 PM and releasing the game at midnight...I probably won't get there until 11:30ish or so though. I went for Halo 3. The line moves very quick as it's everyone that's pre-ordered. You just go in, show them your receipt. Grab your copy, and floor it home..Only to find out you have the RROD :'( (God I hope not.) haha.

Im going in around 11ish, luckily there are gamestops like every 5miles where I live, and the closest one to me has only been open a few months, but they said that they havnt had more than 20-30 people show up for midnight releases so far in that store. S***, I was first in line for Lollapalooza this year, and I only had to wait in line 8 hours before the gates opened, this will feel like nothing.
