Moving house with my wife and kid

I have a wife and a kid whos a few months old I think (well, hes still in a cot), and ever since I bought the house my wife has been moaning (it was the cheapest one in Bowerston), so after saving up for a while I bought a bigger house in the same town. I made my wife follow me to the house and chose to set it as my marital home and it did it. Toruble is, my kid stayed in the other crap house and I dont know how to move him as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated

This is a bit of a sticky situation. I would reccomend purchasing the other house as a martial home and wait until the kid is at least able to run around and call you daddy/mommy. Then move to your desirable martial home and ask the wife and kid to follow you. If you want to try ways around this, you could try:
1.) Asking the crib to follow you. (Unsure)
2.) Waiting for some time to pass and the kid to leave the house. (Possible)
3.) Try having another child. (Works); but then the other kid might wind up in population.

Buy back your old house and go on a few quests to occupy time. When you return, your child should be old enough and then you can move to the new house.
If when you buy back your old house, the cot isn't there...well then it seems your child was snatched by balverines. My deepest sympathy for you and yours.

Just a thought, check that you dont have 2 families in your quests/regions tab... it might be the duplicate glitch where your wife gets copied to the new house but your child stays with your old family (im confusing myself here so sorry if this doesnt make sense).
