mugen - your own giant fighting game

for those of you who know what mugen is, you can skip the first paragraph...

you know all those old fighters? marvel vs capcom, street fighter, king of fighters?
well they have a common fighting engine, and it's called mugen. downloading mugen lets you get characters from all those games, including characters created by players, and have one giant fighting game.
last night, i spent several hours redownloading it (i had it in '06 but that computer died) from a youtube video that gave me literally over 1000 characters and stages. if you are at all interested in building a mugen from scratch, here is the basic engine with no content.

I used to love collecting mugen characters.

I got up to like 200 before my comp crashed. I lost all of them and i just stopped with mugen.

The only thing i hated was how some characters were so overpowered.

I remember this, me and my friend were working on a Jack of Blades sprite sheet but when we attempted to use VGanimate, the mask would move around like crazy while he was moving.

Very fun game, I have a disk of about 340 characters saved.
