Multiple weapons

Hi iv finished fable (TLC) and i was wondering... why can't you buy more than one of the same type of weapon???:blush:
e.g. i wanted to go Balverine hunting so i got a Master Longsword and augmented it with 3 silvers, however when i wanted to get another MTR LWRD and augment it with 3 flame (northern wastes) it wouldn't let me buy a second one!!
WTF!!!:wacko:
please explain !!

just a way to make it balanced I guess, or they didnt want players to get annoyed searching through their weapons to find the exact one they want...
