multiples heroes cleared up

I've seen a lot of threads asking whether you can have multiple save slots or not, and I can confirum you can. I satrted a new game, and now when i click on continue game it asks me to choose which hero i want to play as - you can have up to six.

Yeah, but that's not separate game saves for one character...
