My friend can't play?

My friend's game pauses after pressing 'Start' and it freezes on the tips. It happens every time. She bought a new disc, and it still does it. She installed it to the hard drive, and it still does it... Can anyone help?

sounds like a console problem, not a game problem. does it happen with other games too?

Sorry, yeah, she deleted every file from the harddrive and it's working now.
