My latest discovery - a link to reality!

Ok while I was in English doing my coursework (I'm on media studies at the moment, and am currently on 'Let Him Have It'), I noticed that one of the characters is called Sergeant Fairfax (if you don't believe me go on google and search for him).

Now, as you know Fairfax is one of the areas in Fable 2, so while noticing this I thought "Maybe Lionhead picked out his name for Fable 2?". I may not be first for these words, but I think its quite an extrodinary discovery :lol:.

Possibly. Lionhead take a lot of names and characters from real life. Such as Max and Sam. Those are based on Lionhead developers.

Possible they took albion and it's also the oldest town in england

It is possible but also unlikely. How many people called Fairfax could there be? Not as much as Smith or Johnson but a few thousand, and it would be unlikely to choose him when theres another 5,000 Fairfax's out there... unless he's famous, Is he?

Max and Sam, or Sam and Max, were also video game characters with some notoriety...

I saw a Fairfax Taxi once when I was in the city. It was pretty awesome.
My math teacher makes up words all the time as well, I think he may be a descendant of Barnum.

I saw a business or something called Fairfax today.
And Reaver shot Barnum, and who in there right mind would have Barnums kids? He's a total and complete Failure

Well yes I know, but I know plenty of women who've fornicated with failures and produced failure children. In fact, I'm confident that a significant proportion of the members of this very forum are living proof that failures do in fact live on in the latter generations.

I thought it was always called England but I was in west London on sunday and I just remembered seeing a sign with Albion on it saying, like, welcome to Albion or Albion Village or something.

That's what I thought but he said it was the Oldest Town. My Dad told me on the weekend that it was England.
