My lil issue.

I'd like to throw some of my own output in the pool. Back in Fable 1, I used to love going to a village and staying up all day watching the workers carry their logs all day to the different locations, watching the unemployed just scurry about, and then as night came the tavern filling up with noise and laughter and the sound of glasses, and then early in the morning all but a few people have actually gone to their beds and gone to sleep, leaving just the barman, game host and barlady to clean up. This would be my favorite time to enter the tavern, a moment of silence to drink, nobody exclaiming how great I am, or screaming to their friends about whatever.

In Fable 2, they said the scehduel would still exist, but they would revolve around you a little bit more. They definently did. I rarly see more than a few people carrying anything to the shops anymore. The shopkeepers do stand outside their stalls yelling to buy their goods, but its different and not in a great way. There is constantly a stream of people following me, sometimes into my own home. They never sleep, rarly eat, the only people in the tavern seem to be there 24 hours, day and night. The few who do "sleep" dont go to their cots, in my game they seem to dissapear, their sleep noises heard but not so much as a buldge on the bed. I miss my nighttime walks where there is no noise but the fighters circle. Now there is constantly a stream of people wanting to do this and that to me. Its gotten so bad that I cant enjoy my towns as much, I had to move my family to a demon door, and even they never sleep, they just stand around complimenting me till I leave. What to do, what to do..

^ kill them all and be satisfied that if they're dead they have to sleep.....

Re: My lil issue.

Tried it. They respawn identically, with a different name. Im sure you have too.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles; I know the feeling! It got rather tiring having massive crowds of adoring fans following me around after becoming famous, particularly when I just wanted some alone time. If you really want to enjoy nice scenery without the noise I'd advise traveling to one of the locations based in the wilderness such as Westcliff or Brightwood, even Bower Lake on occassion. I can't offer much in terms of people-watching alone, but I've noticed that if you keep your distance from any one of the wandering bards that show up in Bowerstone, Farfaix Gardens, or the Gypsy Camp you can listen in on the (often humorous) stories without (all the) people swarming toward you.
