My portfolio design

This is a concept for my soon-to-be webdesign umm.. website!

What do you think about it? (And yes, I forgot to add the shadow under the right paper!)

The idea is to create a website without the common "menu" but still having a working and understandable navigation. hehe...

Something like this would be nice if it was done in flash. An effect where the pages leafed past each other to reach the appropriate area of the site would be nice. What code language are you using for this?

May I ask as to what purpose the drawing board pins serve? Their a nice addition, are they going to be linked through to other pages as part of the navigation or will they just be for decoration?

Its a good mock up but in terms of design a more appropriate font would suit the style alot better, like blotted ink from a caligraphy pen, though in pragmatic terms it may be too hard to read.

Other than that its good, nice style to it, good flow, maybe the drop shadows are a tad too dark but other than that I like it. Oh oh, a background that looked like a proper desk as if the papers were strewn across it would be cool. Perhaps a high defintion photo compressed for web use? just throwing ideas out for ya dude. Excellant work though

Im having small thumbs for designs I made there now. The pin-images were just put there to fill the space atm. Im using Lightbox2 for making the images larger, you can check it out here:

I already know what lightbox is, its a lovely piece of work, I used to run it on my site before I didnt pay the renewal. if your going to be using the pins as images why dont you have it like poloroid picture style thumbnails so its inkeeping with the theme?
