My thoughts on Fable 2 and the future

I haven't finished it yet, just did get back from the Spire. I just wanted to mention a few things thus far...

1: Best combat system I have ever played, period. You feel so cool fighting, shooting and casting spells. It simply doesn't get old. I've spent hours in the crucible and countless others just roaming the countryside looking for bandits and hobbs.

2: Graphics are the best ive seen in a third person adventure game to date. Some areas (towns) could be A LOT bigger as promised but the amount of detail that is there is astonishing.

3: CO-OP was a great idea. If the developers are listening please, release a patch to free the camera when playing over LIVE and let us use our OWN Hero's, rather than a generic character we care nothing for.

Future: It doesn't need to stop here. These graphics, combat system, its all great! I simply refuse to wait another 4 years for another (they say 10) hours of story. Developers please, start creating downloadable content for more regions, clothes, weapons, creatures, quests, STORY and so forth. Theres no need for FABLE 3 with a new game engine, graphics and systems. No, you have PLENTY to work with.

Thank You :)

Yeah really, that was awesome.

Re: My thoughts on Fable 2 and the future

Fable 2 is indeed a good game, but it feels like they rushed it. There are glitches every where, dogs don't attack the way they said, there was something about how, if you were being attacked by someone at range while you were attacking a melee, your dog would attack the range.

My dog hasn't alerted me to treasure when I'm standing directly in front of it, wives just disappear into thin air without becoming divorced. Also, co-op sucked so hard, and the story was far too short. Other than that, it is a good game, I just wish they would have taken more care, and not rushed it out the door. At least, that's what it feels like.
