My wife killed herself?!

I was doing a quest and then a box pops up and says that my wife left me. I said okay, sh*t happens. Then a minute or so later another box, saying my wife killed herself and child services took my kid. wtf?!

I got over it quick and married a hooker. :wub:

this happen to anyone else? I kept her and the kid happy too.

Also it happened after I completed the spire and my kid was like 9. When I got back the kid wouldn't look at me, he would just stare at the wall.

yeah, i was like " hey, jimmy, look at me!" He just kept staring at the wall and I tried to kill him but I couldnt. I had a c*** family anyway, thanks lucien! RIP my dog, my only good family member.

If you dont go back for it when they demand they quickly leave you, and seems even kill themselves over it to judging by this thread. :lol:

Oh yes! I got my Bowerstonian wife to kill herself. All it took was a trip into Bloodstone and I proceeded to sleep with every prostitute in town (many of them at the same time, in fact) ;D

And yeah, I think it's happened with a few people during the quest with the ghost (can't remember the name) if you give her the letter. But apart from that, that's never happened to me.

Can anyone else in the game kill your wife? Just curious. Seemed like someone had mentioned that someone kills one of your wives or something. I may have just misunderstood.

If you take them with you on your adventures somethign will probably eat them. Or if you get attacked by assassins in Bloodstone they might get her.

for me, no good comes in marrying someone. I bought every peice of land and property in albion, moved into reavers mansion with a sexy hooker and got married and had 2 kids. I gave them 90 grand for when i was gone to keep them happy. Whenever i came home ( which was often) i brougth gifts and had sex with my wife. Im full good and pure and i have really good looks.But alas, she left me. And she took my dear sweet children, but i didnt pay her child support. I stuck it to that bitch. lol
